Animals
What do you see when you look at a pig, are you guilty of judging a book by its cover, or in this case a pig by its muckiness?
Do not let their mud filled surroundings and dirt covered coats deceive you, pigs are a very clever and clean animals.Pigs are very particular about hygiene! They are the only farm animals that make a separate sleeping den (which they keep spotless) and use a latrine area. They turn the ground more efficiently than any plough, “rooting” incessantly with their snouts. All this rooting around together with rain, unsurprisingly leads to mud, which being the wise hogs they are, they use to coat themselves in as a protection against sunburn.
In fact all you have to do is look at a pigs feet to see just how contradictory their initial appearance is.
Next time you get a chance, take a closer look and you will see that below the big bellied muck covered pig are trotters of a ballerina…in many ways more agile than a dog even!!
